Ever wanted all your Windows settings in one place? Well, now you can have it with "God Mode" in Windows 7/Vista. God Mode was created by the Windows Development team to help them browse through various settings for Windows within one panel without the hassle of opening up different folders in Control Panel and other places.

To use it, all you need to do is:

Step One:

  • Create a new folder.
  • Right Click on Desktop > New > Folder

Step Two:

  • Rename the folder to the following:

Windows XP “You may be a victim of software counterfeiting”

After installing your genuine copy of Microsoft Windows XP you are prompted with a “Your software is counterfeit” error message at startup. Even after visiting the www.microsoft.com/genuine/ site and validating, you still get the above message popping up after 2 or 3 boots. There is an easy solution to this and I would like you to follow the steps below to fix the issue.

1. C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files

  • Within that folder, remove any files or folders associated with .WGA

2. Safe Mode

  • Reboot your computer and as soon as Windows logs off, start repeatively tapping the F8 Key on your keyboard.
  • As soon as you see the Windows Advanced Startup options select Safe Modewithin Safe Mode get yourself into these folders…
  • C:\Windows\System32 (Rename wgatray.exe to wgatrayold.exe)
  • C:\Windows\System32\dllcache (Rename wgatray.exe to

Vista “Widgets” on Windows XP

Well many people loved the feature on Windows Vista called "Widgets" but lets face it, not many people are too happy with Windows Vista. So after doing a little bit of research, I found out that Google actually had the same feature (most likely before Microsoft even came out with Vista) and it works on Windows XP!

It's called Google G

FIX: Windows Vista Activation – Product Key in Use

There are many reasons as to why your activation will not work on Windows Vista. To name a few, you have chosen an invalid way of installing Vista (You chose Custom instead of Upgrade) or you have ran the installation without typing in the Product Key.

Now when you get the prompt to activate Windows Vista, you get an error saying "Product Key already in use" - Do not fear, this does mean that Microsoft has given the same product key to someone else, it just means that the Product Key has already been registered on the server and therefore needs to be activated by Phone.

FIX: Windows Vista – Slow Internet Download/Connection Speeds

Ever noticed how your Windows Vista's download speed is slower than your Windows XP's download speed? This most likely will occur if you have a RealTek Network Card installed on your computer. The reason why you have slow download speeds is because at the moment, there is a Vista driver that is out that is actually pointing to the date of 6-21-2006 when it should really be 1-26-2007. So that pretty much sums up why your speeds have dropped dramatically. You can fix this issue by

Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista – Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

"Help I can't browse the internet, I keep getting the error 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' everytime I try to go online"
So you were using your computer one day and out of no where you are unable to access the internet. You then try to trace your steps back to what you did last and came up with the conclusion that it was a windows update that caused the problem right? You might be right, but then again you might be wrong. I have come across quite a few people who have brough their computer to me blaming Microsoft for everything when 90% of the time the problem was caused by a non-microsoft product.

Okay, so what we need to do first is to identify if you even have an internet connection because it may be that your internet service provider might be having problems on their side. So to do this we would need to identify if you have an IP Address. What's important for us to look at here is your IP Address and Default Gateway. Depending on what type of mode you are using your IP Address and Default Gateway may be the same or it might be slightly different.
